I have a degree in Contemporary Dance and Performance Art, a Dance Leaders within the Community Award and an Exercise to Music qualification.

I am qualified and fully insured to instruct ZUMBA fitness classes to both adults and children and have been doing so for 8 years now.

I have completed a 'Move It Or Lose It' training course recently and am now in the process of creating some chairbased movement classes for less physically abled bodies.

I am also qualified to teach the Contemporary Dance fitness programme FLOWETIC.

I hold a Level 3 TA certificate and have a wide range of experience when it comes to teaching dance and leading movement play activities.

I am passionate about creating inspiring, accessible, positively motivating dance activity for everybody and any body's body!..

So many people have told me over the years that they can’t dance and so they just don’t.

I want to prove them wrong, inspire them to move, enable them to lose their inhibitions and enjoy their physicality!

Anyway, enough about me - Let's dance!.

Emily also has up to date DBS (formally CRB) clearance (as do all Emerge Dance Teaching Assistants) and is qualified to administer First Aid having completed First Aid at Work training.
